Porsche Effect Exhibit at the Petersen Automotive Museum-MGC Suspensions

Museum History

Founded on June 11, 1994 by magazine publisher Robert E. Petersen, and his wife Margie, the Petersen Automotive Museum is owned and operated by the Petersen Automotive Museum Foundation and seeks to explore and present the history of the automobile.

Located at the end of “Miracle Mile” and the third-most traveled intersection in Los Angeles, the museum appropriately uses the city as a prime example of the impact of the automobile on American life and culture. The museum is housed in a historic department store building dating back to 1962, the façade of which was redesigned by the architectural firm Kohn Pedersen Fox in 2015. As a result of the $90 million renovation, the interior of the original Welton Becket-designed building now features 25 rotating exhibitions with more than 150 vehicles on view.

I took a trip to LA recently to check out the Porsche Effect exhibit at the Petersen auto museum. Get all the info you need at www.petersen.org  If you are a Porsche fan it is nirvana for sure. I think the exhibit will be there for the rest of 2018 and part of 2019, check it out if you are anywhere near the Los Angeles area. If you have more than 5,000 social media followers entrance is free! It was an awesome journey through Porsche history and racing. From the very first 911 built to modern racing cars, all points of the Porsche brand were present, and it was great to see. It was a rare opportunity to get images of some wonderful cars. Make sure you pay the extra few bucks to visit "the vault" which is an extra collection of great cars in the basement of the building. Some have great history or once belonged to famous people. Please visit our suspension parts website, mgcsuspensions.com for a great catalog of parts by top brands in the business. We have the best coilovers, lowering springs, sway bars and more to choose from. Enjoy the pictures i have left below. Petersen Automotive Museum
