Fabspeed Motorsport's engineering team consulted with HJS Motorsport and chose the largest HJS catalytic converter that would fit the G8x chassis.
This guarantees the most exhaust flow, reliability, and sound. This down pipe will flow 93% of a 3'' straight pipe, all while providing emissions compliant performance and NO check engine light. There's no need to run cat bypass pipes.
SOUND:
Fabspeed downpipes do an excellent job of subtly increasing the exhaust volume and deceleration pops and burbles, with no increase of unwanted interior drone. For a more aggressive exhaust note, add Fabspeed's intermediate X-Pipe.
POWER:
An in-house DynoJet, this high-flow sport cat down pipe kit made max gains of 23 ft/lbs of TQ at 3,200 RPM and 20 WHP at 6,500 RPM.
That’s 23 crank HP! Take a look at our dyno graph and you can see that power is gained throughout the entire power band.
