The track edition exhaust takes the engineered design of the touring edition and replaces the rear AWE 180 Technology® resonators with straight pipe sections, delivering an even bigger dose of sound out of this capable sedan.
It’s known to get raucous in the mid-range and could be a little much for many, and for that reason, this system can’t be returned due to sound volume.
AWE makes it easy to swap over to a touring edition with their conversion kit.
Just bolt it on and tone it down a bit.
Let's talk Valve Simulators (sold separately): Models equipped with the optional valved AMG performance exhaust system require the AWE electronic valve simulators for proper function.
Valve simulators are not needed for cars without the AMG performance exhaust.
