This system takes all of the precision engineering and performance of its SwitchPath™ counterpart, minus the valve on the passenger’s side and the muffler on the driver’s side.
The result is a constant “valve open” mode.
This version is known to get (really) rowdy, and may be too much for many. For that reason, this particular version cannot be returned due to sound preference.
If after running the track edition you're feeling it’s a bit too much, AWE makes it easy to swap over to a touring edition with a conversion kit. Just bolt it on and tone it down a bit.
Valve Simulators (sold separately): Why do you need them?
When it comes to the track edition versions of these systems, the valves are eliminated, and the ECU stores what is known as a ‘soft code’.
While this code is not harmful, who wants it? Enter the AWE electronic valve simulators. These simple devices plug right into the factory harness in place of the exhaust valves, and prevent any code from ever being stored in the ECU due to the removal of the exhaust valves. Plug them in. Start it up. Drive away. Comes as a set of two.
When it comes to tips, this kit is finished off with 102mm slash-cut tips, featuring the AWE logo.
All tips are individually adjustable, allowing depth into the bumper to be set according to personal taste.
They're also double walled to ensure a mirror finish, even with hard use.
