The Fabspeed sport cat with down pipe is a great bolt-on modification for any 718 Turbo car.
These sport cat with down pipes feature German made HJS 200 cell EURO 6 EC certified compliant tri-metallic catalytic converters.
Fabspeed uses all mandrel bent T304L stainless steel 3 inch tubing that splits into 2 inch tubing from the cat to the rest of the exhaust.
The HJS 200 cell catalytic converter is the largest and highest flowing unit you can fit on the 718.
By incorporating larger catalytic converters, exhaust flow is improved and the larger catalyst surface area enables more efficient exhaust gas filtration, resulting in emissions compliance and preventing the triggering of a check engine light.
These kits are a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory 718 catalytic converter and down pipe.
Sound:
This upgrade adds more volume to the characteristic boxer engine rumble. No droning, and the activation of sport mode greatly increases cracks and pops during shifting and overrun conditions.
Expect a slight increase in turbo sound as well. This can be enhanced even further at any point with the addition of Fabspeed's Maxflo exhaust system.
Power:
Increases wheel horsepower by approximately 20. For an added boost, consider pairing it with a Fabspeed ECU tune.
Finish:
T304L stainless steel, beautifully welded together and finished off with hand made single-wall stainless steel tips or premium matte carbon fiber shrouded tips.
